I’m Sara, an interdisciplinary scholar and creative practitioner.

I recently completed my PhD in the LSE’s International Relations Department, funded by the AHRC’s LAHP doctoral training partnership, and am a visiting fellow in the Department of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University.

I am an international politics scholar researching and writing at the intersection of art and culture, migration, and diaspora, with a current focus on cultural producers exiled from contemporary Myanmar.

I also collaborate with artists and academic institutions to produce digital, educational, and experiential creative outputs.
